Efficiency and Output Diagram

Turbine Housing:

The main part of the turbine is the helical housing is a solid steel building construction made of steel S355J2G3, welded by certified welders, hot zinc galvanized or painted with ZINGA after welding, special surface treatment and painted. This housing is very important because the hole forces are guided by this housing in the concrete. The basic part of the spiral housing are the welded guide blades between the two supporting rings. Some important additionals like cleaning portholes with removable caps, pressure measurement points for some pressure systems with shut-off valve at the inlet are abvious included. At the highest point of the casing is one air outlet valve and attached to the lowest point of a drainage valve. After galvanizing the housing there will be made a pressure test (look at the picture) with more than 1,5 times of the working pressure, to be sure, that a hammer do not destroy the turbine.

Draft tube elbow:

It is a straight cone and a selectable angel-elbow as connection from turbine to endd draft tube end part. The material is steel S355J2G3 and comprise a inspection opening, connections for pressure some pressure measuring systems with shut-off valve for pressure and for vacuum and connections for ventilations. The whole part is after welding galvanized and treated with a special surface treatment for a good quality painting.

Draft tube ends:

The draft tube end is a straight cone made of S355J2G3. For a small fee, the draft tube can be customized to rectanular or a second elbow to reduce the construction costs. The whole part is after welding galvanized and treated with a special surface treatment for a good quality painting.

Turbine shaft:

Deleted - runner is mounted directly on the generator shaft

Turbine shaft bearings:

Deleted – on the generator integrated.

Shaft sealing:

The shaft sealing is made out of seal housing with labyrinth chambers, water splash ring, pressure relief line to the suction pipe and leak water drain line with a collecting funnel. On the generator shaft is a shaft cover bushing with hardened wear layer mounted. All parts in contact with water are made of stainless steel or bronze.

Runner:

The runner will be a francis type, welded construction made of wear-resistant chrome-nickel steel X5CrNi13.4. The connection of the runner will be designed for using oil pressure connection directly to the generator shaft. The water connected passages are smooth and free of hollows, depressions or projections which would be one cause of cavitation. The finished runner will be dynamic balanced.

Runner wearing ring:

This ring is pressed to the guide vane ring and secured with screws. It is possible to change this ring when the gap between the runner and this ring is too big and the efficency to less.

Guide vane ring:

This part is made of steel S355J2G3. The surface whitch is in contact with water is specially treated. A stainless bronze layer is applied with a special elaborate procedures for the guide vane gap as small as possible to make. To measure and control the gaps between the runner an runner rings be attached screwed control opening.

Guide vanes:

Wear resistant Chromium –Nickel steel G-X5CrNi13.4 one- piece Full cast; stored in maintenance-free slide bearing bushes. Dual guide vanes sealing using groove-and O-rings. The bearing bushes and seals can be replaced without removing the guide vanes. For security against rotation, the regulating lever with the guide vanes are attached with torque-tension rates. Finally view position for the guide vane opening.

Regulating lever with handlebars:

Galvanized steel or ductile cast iron; with torque-mounted clamping sets; arranged in chains link.

Guide wheel adjustment:

Double hydraulic cylinder mounted on the turbine housing;. including linear potentiometer for position sensing. The end positions of the adjustment cylinders are mechanically limited by stops. einschließlich Linearpotentiometer für Positionserfassung. Die Endpositionen des Verstellzylinders

Generator base frame:

The generator base frame is screwed very well to the spiral housing and is additionally centered. The top surface for the feeds of the generator is machined. For better adjustment of the generator are lax
